Comet P67/C-G dust jets, full montage 2 Sept 14 NAVCAM
Here is the full montage with a masked overlay showing two active jet areas: one narrow collimated group of jets to the upper left originating in the north polar area of the comet and another broad jet to the lower left arising in the large equatorial plain on the larger comet body. The broad circular patch to the right center is a camera reflection artifact.

OSIRIS image 7 Aug 14 showing the suspected source of the collimated polar jets. Note the lineation of pits and disturbed regolith in the center above the line of boulders (AKA "String of Pearls"). There should be interesting changes in this area over the next few weeks.

This image is comparing and showing changes in the feature informally named "The Equatorial Plain" between the dates of 6 Aug 14 and 23 Aug 14. During this time interval numerous depressions and mounds in the range of 5 to 6 meters have appeared. The source and provenance of these features is unknown. However, it seems not likely that this many small impact craters have been formed or boulders emplaced, so the origin is intriguing and mysterious.
NOTE: most likely the "features" are pre-processing artifacts. OOPS. :)
This area is a likely source of the large, broad dust jet seen to the lower left of the 2 Sept 14 image of the dust jets.Comparative series of images for Comet 67P/C-G
This is a comparative series of images centered on a feature informally named "The Equatorial Plain" located near 0 degrees longitude on the large sphere of the comet. It shows this feature on the dates of 6 Aug, 13 Aug, 15 Aug, 23 Aug and 7 Sept 14 with the OSIRIS imager or the NavCam. The images are presented in a similar scale of 1 meter per pixel and with a similar orientation.

An enhanced version of the"Selfie" made on 7 Sept by the CIVA imager on the Philae lander. The faint details in the background have been emphasized and possibly show faint dust jets emanating from the comet in the lower left direction. The flare from the bright reflections from the solar panel shows up as a circular area and streaks to the left.

Preliminary enhancement of ESA/Rosetta/Navcam/BlogTeam animated GIF image ESA_Rosetta_NAVCAM_30km_movie_small.gif
This is just a prelim version to get the image in before the Holiday Break. Never could get the last frame of the animation to fully load, and I'll need do much more work on the individual frames during the Break.
This movie is enhanced to show the dust jets more clearly.
